Louise Lasser was an Emmy Award-nominated actor who appeared on television series and films. She was best known for playing the titular role on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Lasser also appeared on numerous television series including Girls, It's A Living, as well as Laverne & Shirley.
In addition to her work on television, Lasser also acted in many films. She collaborated with her then-husband Woody Allen on the films "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" "Take The Money and Run," "Bananas," and "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (But Were Afraid to Ask)." Lasser also acted in "Requiem for a Dream," "Happiness," and "Fast Food Fast Women."
