Salli Newman was an executive and a producer who worked on television series and films. She founded Firebird Productions in 1990 and worked for 30 years as an independent producer. Her work can be seen on Greenleaf, Chasing Life, and Step Up: High Water. Newman also produced or co-produced the films "The Magic of Belle Island" and "D2: The Mighty Ducks."
More recently, she was a Senior VP of Television Production for Lionsgate from 2020 until her passing in 2025.
