Tracy Scott was a script supervisor best known for her working relationship with producer Megan Ellison. Scott managed continuity on the Ellison-produced films American Hustle, Her, Foxcatcher and Joy. She also worked on the movies Garden State, The Proposal, Up in the Air, The Help, Whiplash, Black Mass and Concussion, among many others.

After attending Watkins College of Art, Design & Film in Nashville, Scott got her start as an intern on the 1999 film The Green Mile, which starred Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. She met and impressed script supervisor Susan Malerstein-Watkins, who encouraged Scott to move to Hollywood, which she did in 1999.

Scott also worked on television, including the series Deadwood, Women’s Murder Club, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Worst Week, Emily’s Reasons Why Not, Parks and Recreation, Switched at Birth, Wilfred and Happy Endings. Additionally, she contributed to the television movies 30 Days Until I’m Famous and Zip.

Scott died from cancer on April 30, 2016, in Lady Lake, Florida. She was 46.
