Brian L. Chambers, Picture Editor, Postproduction Executive

Most recently, Chambers worked as director of postproduction for 20th Century Fox Television.

Brian L. Chambers, a television executive, editor, producer and production manager, passed away November 11, 2011, in Sherman Oaks, California. He was 56.

according to news reports, the cause was pancreatic cancer.

Since 2003, Chambers worked for Century Fox Television as the director of postproduction for all of the company's shows, such as Bones and Modern Family.

Chambers had a career as an editor, producer, and production manager, prior to Fox. He worked on films such as Frankie and Johnny, Lethal Weapon and several TV shows, including Judging Amy and Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Not only was he an accomplished editor, he also taught editing at the American Film Institute. He had been a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Editors Guild. His father, Ernest Chambers, is an 11-time Emmy-nominated producer and writer.

Survivors are his father, mother, wife, two sons, stepmother, brother and three sisters.
