Chandra Wilson received her Emmy noms for the role of Dr. Miranda Bailey on Grey’s, a performance for which this star also scored two Screen Actors Guild Awards, three NAACP Image Awards and a BET nomination.
She began performing as a child in her native Texas, and went on to earn critical acclaim for her theater work on Broadway.
Wilson's other television credits include the Hallmark Channel production Accidental Friendship, for which she won a PRISM Award. She was a series regular on the ABC comedy Bob Patterson, plus made guest appearances on such series as The Sopranos, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Sex and the City and The Cosby Show.
Jim Parsons has established himself as one of television’s breakout stars for his quirky performance as Big Bang’s Sheldon Cooper, the brilliant but socially inept physicist described by TV Guide as “the funniest, fussiest misfit since Felix Unger.” The series will begin its third season this fall.
Like Wilson, Parsons also hails from Texas, and began his career on stage, including productions at the Manhattan Ensemble Theater, the Globe Theater and the Houston Shakespeare Festival.
Before Big Bang, he appeared in the movies School for Scoundrels, Garden State and Heights, and on the television series Judging Amy and Ed.
