I am in my final year of college and enrolled in fewer than 6 credit units. Am I still eligible to apply?
What are the various options for Proof of Enrollment?
A letter from the registrar confirming full-time enrollment or specifying the number of credits in which you are currently enrolled.
A screenshot of your schedule for the semester with type that is legible to read.
A transcript showing that you are currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.
May I apply to this program as an international student studying at a US institution on an F-1 visa?
No. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid Permanent Resident card. International students studying at a US institution on an F-1 visa are not eligible.
Do you prefer a more traditional résumé versus a production-based resume?
A traditional résumé is preferred and should include highlights of any production work you’ve completed.
Can you please tell me which categories will be remote?
We are unable to determine which categories, if any, will be remote until all host companies are confirmed after the submission period.
For the Directing category, is it possible to use edits and cuts as long as it follows one continuous scene?
Yes.
For the Writing category, does the scene need to be written in the context of an already existing show?
Yes. Your scene must use the established characters and tone of a television show that has aired within the last two years.
For the Writing category, may I include a title page that lists the logline and the platform on which it airs?
Yes, you may include a title page with this information in addition to your 4-page scene.
For the Writing category, should the logline reflect the series as a whole or just the original scene?
The logline should reflect the original scene.
How do I confirm that my application is complete?
You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been successfully submitted. You may also confirm by seeing “complete” in the status field at the top of your application.
May I make changes to my application after I click “Submit”?
No. Once your application is submitted, no further edits can be made. Please review all materials carefully to ensure your application is complete before submitting.
