Alexander Zale was an Iraqi-born actor.
After emigrating to the United States at age 18, Zale graduated from Hofstra University and served in the U.S. Navy before beginning his acting career.
He had recurring roles in the television series Matlock, Intruders, Days of Our Lives, NYPD Blue, and 24, and guest starred in a number of programs including Tenspeed and Brown Shoe, Pleasure Palace, The Incredible Hulk, Cagney & Lacey, The Marshal, Profiler, and Tracey Takes On…
On the big screen, Zale appeared in Frances (1982) with Jessica Lange, Invasion U.S.A. (1985) starring Chuck Norris, Postcards From the Edge (1990), Showgirls (1995), and Wakefield (2016) with Bryan Cranston.
Zale died August 28, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. He was 89.
