Alix Jaffe is President of Television at Miramax, where she oversees the studio’s global scripted television strategy, development, production, and talent partnerships. She leads teams across Los Angeles, London, and Doha, building on Miramax’s iconic IP while championing bold, original content for international audiences. The studio’s development slate includes series adaptations of Gangs of New York, Chocolat, Cop Land, and Ella Enchanted, among others. Their slate also includes The Gentlemen, the Emmy-nominated Zero Day, and the global hit Wednesday. 

Previously, Jaffe was Vice President of Television at Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, where she launched and ran the independent TV division. She developed and packaged projects with top talent, including Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison and Bryan Cranston’s Moonshot Entertainment. Her credits there include the Nash Bridges reboot and the BBC’s We Might Regret This. She also led IP adaptations and sold projects to Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, and more.

Earlier, Jaffe served as President of Amigos de Garcia Productions under a CBS overall deal, executive producing The Guest Book (TBS) and The Millers (CBS). She began her career at CBS, eventually becoming VP of Current Programs, overseeing series such as Blue Bloods, How I Met Your Mother, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Jaffe sits on the boards of the Peabody Awards (West Coast) and the Television Academy Foundation, supporting excellence and mentorship in the industry. She holds a master’s from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania.
