Anthony Filosa was a retired California state judge.
Filosa appeared several times on Nathan for You, a docu-reality comedy television series starring comedian Nathan Fielder. In the series, Fielder plays a fictionalized version of himself, who tries to use his business background and life experiences to help struggling companies and people, frequently offering them outlandish strategies, parodying the methods of marketing and management consultants. Filosa served as Fielder’s legal advisor in these situations.
Filosa had previously appeared as a contestant on the game show Press Your Luck in 1983.
Filosa died July 4, 2018, in Los Angeles, California. He was 78.
