Anthony Riley was a singer best known for appearing as a contestant on the NBC reality competition program The Voice.

Riley participated in the eighth season of the hit show, and was soon a fan favorite. After winning his first battle round, the 28-year-old performer informed the show's producers that he needed to return to his hometown of Philadelphia in order to enter rehab. Only the year before had been named Philadelphia's Best Street Performer by Philadelphia Magazine.

Specializing in 1960s R&B, he auditioned for The Voice with the song "I Got You (I Feel Good)" by James Brown. Within moments, all four judges turned their chairs, signaling their desire to work with him. Artist Pharrell won out and ended up coaching Riley for a short time before the contestant's departure from the show.

Riley was found dead on June 2, 2015, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The cause was not identified at the time of his passing. He was 28.
