Barbara Gordon was a writer and producer of television series. She wrote for The Today Show and produced segments of the 1971-’72 series The Great American Dream Machine.

Gordon also wrote the memoir "I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can," which focused on her addiction to and recovery from Valium. It later became a film of the same film which starred Jill Clayburgh and Dianne Wiest.
