Beverly Bentley was an American actress.

Raised in Florida, Bentley studied acting at Sarasota High School. While working as a waitress in Pensacola, she met Arthur Godfrey, who encouraged her to move to New York and pursue a career in show business. She did so, and was immediately hired by Godfrey to appear on his variety show.

Bentley worked as a hostess on several TV game shows, such as Beat the Clock, The Big Payoff, and The Price Is Right. She appeared in several Broadway and off-Broadway shows, and acted on television and in films.

Bentley was married to writer Norman Mailer from 1963 to 1980, and appeared in several stage, film, and television adaptations of his work.

Bentley died September 13, 2018, in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She was 88.
