Bill Millar was an Emmy Award-winning visual effects supervisor/producer and main title designer. He was a visual effects supervisor/producer on The X-Files, Smallville, Dark Shadows and many more television series.

He created the main titles for such network series as The Young Riders, Nightmare Cafe, Dark Shadows and the mini-series "Peter The Great."

When Millar came to the United States from England in 1976 he worked on the production crews for "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and "Star Trek: The Motion Picture."

From 1994-1998 Bill served as Governor of the Visual Effects/Title Design Peer Group of The Television Academy.
