Bill Webb was top director at ABC Sports from 1988-96, directing Major League Baseball games, the Little League World Series, the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes — for which he won four Eclipse Awards — and college football and basketball, primarily directing for Wide World of Sports, directing boxing, skiing or figure skating.
He received a Sports Emmy in 2012 for his work on the 2011 World Series.
