Bob Bardo was a producer and executive in charge of production at Dick Clark Productions.

Bardo’s career started in the radio business. He worked at a radio station owned by ABC in Potsdam, New York. He went from sweeping floors at the radio station to being on air and managing the station.

In 1969, Bardo was offered a position in Los Angeles as the night operations manager at ABC, which would lead him to the position as head of unit managers. As a unit manager, he worked on The Lawrence Welk Show and Let’s Make a Deal.

In 1985 Bardo started as an associate producer on the daytime drama General Hospital. He was promoted to coordinating producer in 1988 and continued with the program until 1994. Bardo won a Daytime Emmy as part of a General Hospital show in 1995.

Bardo freelanced at Dick Clark Productions from 1994 to 2001. He became the staff executive in charge of production in August of 2002.

Bardo died December 20, 2014, in Burbank, California.
