Brian DeCloux is an award-winning producer, director, and content creator recognized for his work across news, entertainment, and sports media. He launched the critically acclaimed series Backstage: Lakers and Backstage: Dodgers, pioneering a weekly documentary-style, behind-the-scenes format that followed both teams for more than 12 seasons.
At Spectrum News 1, DeCloux brought the same cinematic style to the development of The SoCal Scene and Beyond the Sport. He also served as Executive Producer of Legend of Surf: Joey Cabell, which earned recognition at the 2023 Northern California Area Emmy Awards for "Post-Produced Sports Program."
Since 2012, DeCloux has contributed to more than ten productions honored with LA Area Emmy Awards, including Dodgermentary, Sports Shrines of LA, Showtime Reunion, Birth of a Dynasty, Leave a Legacy, Road to the MLS Cup, and Kobe Top 10.
Before the launch of Spectrum SportsNet, he served as Producer for multiple MLB All-Star Games, NBA Finals, Super Bowls, and World Series for FOX Sports.
Most recently, DeCloux oversaw the Japanese adaptation of Backstage: Dodgers, distributing the series on Amazon Prime in Japan.
DeCloux graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Film Production.
