Bud Untiedt was an engineering manager for ABC. He is best known for his contributions to the series Barney Miller and the game show Family Feud.

He also worked on the series The Julie Andrews Hour, Welcome Back Kotter, Benson, Legends of the Superheroes and Soap.

Additionally, he contributed to the specials An Evening with John Denver, The Paul Lynde Halloween Special, The Carpenters: A Christmas Portrait and The 53rd Annual Academy Awards.

Untiedt died January 3, 2016, in Fillmore, California.
