Carol Lynley was an American actress and model.

It was modeling where she initially found success and television and film where she continued to work throughout her career.

Best known for her roles in The Cat and the Canary (1978), The Poseidon Adventure (1972), Bunny Lake is Missing (1965), and Blue Denim (1959), Lynley's silver screen career was jumpstarted with her role in the Walt Disney film, The Light in the Forest (1958).

Her television appearances include Alfred Hitchcock Presents, General Electric Theater, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Invaders, The Big Valley, It Takes a Thief, Mannix, Hawaii Five-O, The Love Boat, Charlie's Angels, The Night Stalker (TV movie), and Fantasy Island.

Lynley died September 3rd, 2019, in Pacific Palisades, California. She was 77.
