Chad Morton is a television writer who likes to tell wacky, character-driven stories about misfits and unlikely heroes. He was born and raised in New Castle, Delaware, and later attended the Savannah College of Art & Design, where he created and wrote the school’s first multi-cam Black sitcom, G.R.I.T.S. After graduation, he continued to pursue his passion for writing and moved to Los Angeles where he worked his way up from production assistant to writer. He’s currently writing for the critically-acclaimed series Abbott Elementary.
