Charles F. Bohl was an American screenwriter.

After moving to Los Angeles in his 20s, Bohl scripted the 1987 film He’s My Girl starring T.K. Carter and David Hallyday. He’d go on to write Swimfan, the 2002 psychological thriller starring Jesse Bradford and Erika Christensen, the creepy tale of a high school swimming star whose one-night stand fuels a nightmarish obsession.

Bohl then wrote Martha Behind Bars, the 2005 Lifetime telefilm about the incarceration of Martha Stewart, on which he also was co-producer. His credits also include TV movies Cheerleader Camp (2007), which he also executive produced, and Unstable (2009).

Bohl died April 18, 2018. He was 59.
