Charles Strouse was an Emmy Award-winning composer for television series, films and Broadway shows. For TV audiences, his All in the Family theme "Those Were the Days" was perhaps his most famous work. His music can be heard in Archie Bunker's Place, and HBO Storybook Musicals. He also composed music for "Bonnie and Clyde," "The Night They Raided Minsky's," and "There Was A Crooked Man..." His acclaimed work for the stage included "Bye Bye Birdie," "Annie," and "It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman."
