Choya Shane was a stuntman and background player who appeared on The Virginian, along with his brother, stuntman Dick Shane.

Shane was also a bullwhip expert, and when he wasn’t doing stunts for The Virginian, he traveled with his older brother, Dick Shane, also a stuntman, as part of a troupe called Whips, Garters & Guns. They later went out on their own as the Shane Duo and once performed their act for the Queen of England. Together they also launched the International Stunt Actors Association, a stunt school. In addition, along with his son, Choya Shane helped to found the video and audio production company Spotlight Film Productions.

Shane died May 8, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 80.
