Craig ‘muMS’ Grant was an American actor and poet.

He is most widely known for portraying Arnold “Poet” Jackson on the HBO prison drama series Oz.

Grant also had recurring roles in Boston Legal, Horace and Pete, She’s Gotta Have It, and Hightown and guest starred in a number of shows including Hack, Chappelle’s Show, The Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order, Cold Case, The Knick, Blue Bloods, Nurse Jackie, Luke Cage, NCIS: New Orleans, and Bull.

On the big screen, he appeared in Life After You (2020), BlackkKlansman (2018), Monsters and Men (2018), Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), Side Effects (2013), Dark Water (2005), and Bamboozled (2000).

Grant died March 24, 2021, in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was 53.
