Dale Sheets was an American television executive.
With a 70-year career that began in radio, Sheets made the transition to television in the late 1940s. He was soon offered the position of West Coast Director of Sales at KTTV in Los Angeles and when the station was bought by MCA, Sheets began a close working relationship with agency head Lew Wasserman.
He would go on to become the youngest VP in MCA's history. In addition to packaging and selling television shows to networks, hiring producers and writers, he acted as agent for clients such as Bob Newhart, Bob Barker, Tennessee Ernie Ford, and Ralph Edwards.
Sheets followed Wasserman to Universal Studios where he became the personal manager to musical artists such as Mel Tormé, Vic Damone, Patti Page, and Jack Jones.
Sheets died December 7, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. He was 91.
