Dan Kay was a contestant on the CBS reality competition series Survivor.
The Massachusetts native earned a B.A. from UMass-Amherst and a law degree from Syracuse University.
After practicing law in Boston for five years, Kay took a break from attorney life to compete on Survivor: Gabon, which aired in the fall of 2008.
Kay died on December 31, 2016. He was 40.
