Diem Brown was a reality show personality best known for her participation in several installments of the MTV series The Challenge. She also worked as an entertainment reporter for various television outlets.

Born in Germany in 1980, Brown grew up in Roswell, Georgia, and first appeared on television in 2006 as a participant on MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat. She went on to compete in six more versions of the reality competition program.

In addition to her reality career, she worked as an entertainment reporter for the Associated Press, Sky Living and FoxNews.com.

At 24, Brown was diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the first time, just three weeks before The Challenge. Over the next several years she underwent chemotherapy and appeared to have beaten the disease, but it later returned.

A devoted patient advocate, she founded Medgift, a gift registry site to aid people going through a medical hardship.

Brown died from complications of cancer on November 14, 2014, in New York City. She was 34.
