Doreen Montalvo was an American actress, singer, and dancer.
Montalvo worked on the stage, in films, and on television.
Her Broadway, off-Broadway and national tour credits include Mamma Mia, On Your Feet, In the Heights, La Lupe, Curvy Widow, and stage adaptations of the films Mrs. Doubtfire, Flashdance, and Giant.
The actress also appeared in episodes of Law & Order, One Life to Live, The Good Wife, Elementary, and Madam Secretary.
Her last screen appearances will be in Jon M. Chu's adaptation of In the Heights, and Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, both scheduled for release in 2021.
Montalvo died October 17, 2020. She was 56.
