Dustin Diamond was an American actor.

Diamond gained fame as the nerdy Samuel "Screech" Powers on TV's Saved by the Bell, which originally aired from 1989 to 1993.

Diamond got his start in the industry with roles in episodes of It's a Living, The Wonder Years, and Pee-Wee Herman's 1988 feature film Big Top Pee-Wee. He was cast as Screech in a short-lived series, Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which evolved into Saved by the Bell. He would reprise the popular role for subsequent iterations including Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved by the Bell: The New Class, as well as several made-for-TV movies. In all, he appeared as Screech for 13 years.

After Saved by the Bell, Diamond began doing stand up comedy and toured extensively with his act. He was also a musician and formed an alternative metal band called Salty The Pocketknife, where he played bass and wrote much of the music.

Diamond appeared in such reality television series as Celebrity Fit Club, Weakest Link, and Celebrity Boxing 2. He made cameo appearances in films such as Made (2001), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003) and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009).
