Edward Blau was an attorney who got his start at Lew Wasserman’s MCA, and represented clients including Johnny Mathis, Fred Astaire, Jerry Lewis and Siegfried & Roy.
Blau’s client list also included Rock Hudson, Steve Allen, Bobby Darin, Dennis Hopper, Rowan & Martin, Dionne Warwick, Jerry Mathers, Henry Miller, The Magic Castle and Ralph Edwards Productions.
After beginning his career at the New York branch of MCA, Blau moved to Los Angeles where he became a partner at a prestigious law firm before venturing out on his own.
He received an honorary award from the Caucus for Television Producers, Writers and Directors for his dedication to the organization.
Blau died January 31, 2017, in Los Angeles. He was 94.
