Eric Zumbrunnen was an editor best known for his frequent collaborations with writer-director Spike Jonze, including the films Being John Malkovich, Adaptation and Her, as well as music videos shot by Jonze, including "Buddy Holly" by Weezer and "It's Oh So Quiet" by Bjork.

Zumbrunnen also contributed to the films Where the Wild Things Are and John Carter.

Additionally, he cut the pilot for the Amazon series Highston, starring Chris Parnell and Mary Lynn Rajskub.

Zumbrunnen died August 1, 2017, in Pacific Palisades, California. He was 52.
