Esther Scott was an American actress.

She began her career lending her voice to the animated television children's series Ewoks and went on to appear in a number of television shows including Sister, Sister, Melrose Place, Full House, 7th Heaven, Becker, ER, The Mentalist, and Pure Genius.

Scott was perhaps best known as being a regular cast member on the sitcom The Geena Davis Show as well as her recurring roles on Hart of Dixie, City Guys, and The Help.

She also appeared in films such as The Birth of a Nation (2016), Gangster Squad (2013), Transformers (2007), My Sister's Keeper (2007), The Pursuit of Happyness (2006), Dreamgirls (2006), Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), Out to Sea (1997), Species (1995), Encino Man (1992), and Boyz n the Hood (1991).

Scott died on February 14th, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. She was 66.
