Frank Biondi Jr. was an American entertainment executive and businessman.

A psychology major, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and went on to earn his masters in business administration from Harvard.

After a quick stint on Wall Street, Biondi Jr. joined the non-profit Children's Television Workshop, home of Sesame Street and The Electric Company, before being recruited to HBO in 1978.

He would help transform that premium cable channel into an entertainment giant and do the same for Viacom from 1987-1996 and Universal Studios from 1996-1998.

An avid tennis player, Biondi Jr. also helped finance the creation of The Tennis Channel.

Biondi Jr. died November 25th, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 74.
