Frank Mancuso Sr. was an executive who served as chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures. During his time at the studio it finished first at the box office in 1986 and 1987 and, on the television side, launched such television series as The Arsenio Hall Show, Entertainment Tonight, Cheers, Family Ties and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Mancuso later became the president and chairman of MGM, positions that he held from 1993-1999. During his time at MGM he restarted United Artists and acquired multiple companies including Orion Pictures and The Samuel Goldwyn Co. in addition to assets from PolyGram Filmed Entertainment.
