Gene Dynarski was an American actor.

A prolific television actor, Dynarski is remembered for his memorable appearances on Star Trek, Batman, Seinfeld, and The X-Files. He also appeared in episodes of Ben Casey, The Big Valley, The Monkees, Adam-12, Land of the Giants, Mannix, Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, Little House on the Prairie, The A-Team, Hill Street Blues, and Knots Landing.

Dynarski also worked on two Steven Spielberg films: Duel, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

In 1979, he opened the Gene Dynarski Theatre in Hollywood. Tom Hanks, Ed Harris and Elisabeth Shue performed in shows there before it shut down in the mid-1990s.

Dynarski died February 27, 2020, in Studio City, California. He was 86.
