Geno Silva was an American actor of the stage and screen.

With a career spanning four decades, Silva is best known for playing The Skull, the hitman who took out Al Pacino’s Tony Montana in the charged conclusion of Brian De Palma’s Scarface (1983).

He was also seen on the big screen in Wanda Nevada (1979), 1941 (1979), Tequila Sunrise (1988), Amistad (1997), and A Man Apart (2003).

Silva was a prominent figure on television screens with recurring roles in the series Days of Our Lives, Key West, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Star Trek: Enterprise; as well as guest starring roles in a number of programs including Fantasy Island, T.J. Hooker, The A-Team, Miami Vice, MacGyver, Murder, She Wrote, and Alias.

Silva died May 9, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. He was 72.
