George Winslow was a child actor best known for his precocious turn opposite Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 comedy-musical Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Winslow, nicknamed “Foghorn,” had an unusually deep voice for his age, and in the film, he famously quipped about Monroe’s “animal magnetism.” He also helped the star’s gold-digging character Lorelei Lee after she got stuck in a porthole. Winslow appeared in another Monroe film, Monkey Business, in 1952, and in the trailer for The Rocket Man two years later he was called “Marilyn Monroe’s Favorite Boy Friend.”

He made his big-screen debut in Room for One More opposite Cary Grant, and also appeared in the films My Pal Gus (as the title character); Mister Scoutmaster; Artists and Models; Rock, Pretty Baby and its sequel, Summer Love.

He also appeared on the Art Linkletter radio program People Are Funny, and on the television shows Dear Phoebe, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, Dr. Hudson's Secret Journal and Blondie.

Winslow died June 13, 2015, in Camp Meeker, California. He was 69.
