Gordon Bressack was an American stage and screenwriter.
He wrote for some of the most influential cartoons ever made, perhaps best known for his work on My Pure Joy, Pinky and the Brain, and Animaniacs.
Bressack also contributed to many other children's animated television series, writing for shows such as: Tiny Toon Adventures, Mighty Max, Darkwing Duck, The Real Ghostbusters, Ducktales, The Smurfs, Bionic Six, Pound Puppies, and Snorks.
He was a three-time Daytime Emmy winner for Outstanding Achievement in Animation for Animaniacs, Outstanding Special Class Animation Program for Pinky and the Brain, and for Outstanding Children's Animated Program for Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain.
Bressack died August 30, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 68.
