Harvey Laidman was a director who worked on many television series and films. He directed episodes of JAG, Lou Grant, The Waltons, Knots Landing, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, the original Matlock and 7th Heaven. Laidman worked on television movies including "Steel Cowboy," "Chicago Story" and "The Boy Who Loved Trolls." He served as assistant director on other films including "Airport," "Red Sky at Morning," "That Certain Summer" and "Hernandez."
