Iden Kamishin was an American sound engineer.

Born and raised in Northern California, Kamishin moved to Los Angeles to pursue a film career.

While enrolled at the Los Angeles City College film school, Kamishin became a self-taught musician, playing guitar in a local band.

He began his career in the film industry as a production assistant, eventually becoming the head of the archive department at Sony Pictures.

While working on popular television shows such as House of Lies, Sneaky Pete, Preacher, The Blacklist, Electric Dreams, Silicon Valley, and Barry, he actively pursued independent film projects where he worked on every aspect of sound including sound design, editing, mixing and supervising.

Kamishin was memorialized in the end credits of episodes of Barry and The Blacklist shortly after his passing.

Kamishin died April 10, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 43.
