James Yarnell began his first job in Television as a production assistant on Dallas.
This led to work on various television shows, eventually moving into the Art Department where he worked with the renowned Production Designers Roy Christopher and Bruce Ryan.
Yarnell has worked as a Production Designer since 2004, and has earned 11 Primetime Emmy nominations, and in 2009 won an Emmy for his work on American Idol.
He is currently the Production Designer of Dancing with the Stars, 1% Club, Jeopardy! and Real Time with Bill Maher.
He served as Governor of the Art Directors/Set Decorators Peer Group for nine years and has been a member of the Peer Group Executive Committee for 19 years.
