Jan-Michael Vincent was an American actor.
Vincent started his career in the late 1960s with guest roles in TV series including Dragnet, Lassie, Bonanza, and Gunsmoke.
He starred in several movies in rapid succession in the 1970s, including The Mechanic (with Charles Bronson), White Line Fever, Baby Blue Marine, Big Wednesday (with Gary Busey and William Katt), and Hooper (with Burt Reynolds). He also appeared as Byron Henry in the television miniseries based on Herman Wouk’s World War II novel, The Winds of War.
From 1984 to 1986, Vincent starred as helicopter pilot Stringfellow Hawke in the the action–espionage series Airwolf.
Vincent died February 10, 2019, in Asheville, North Carolina. He was 73.
