Jeffrey Lane was an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer who worked on television series and musicals. His work can be seen on Lou Grant, Ryan's Hope, and Mad About You. Lane also wrote on numerous awards shows including "The 42nd Annual Tony Awards" and the "AFI Lifetime Achievement Award."
Lane also had a productive career in the theater. He received a Tony Award nomination for writing the book for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." Lane also wrote the book for the musical adaptation of "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown."
