Jerry Golod was an executive and producer who worked on television series.
In 1975 he became vice president of children’s programs at CBS and later had oversight over primetime variety development. Golod moved to NBC in 1979 where he became vice president and national program director. He later started his own production company JayGee Productions in the early 1980s.
In addition to his successful career as an executive, Golod was also a producer. His credits include such television series as Tales from the Darkside, Adderly, and the 1990s reboot of Land of the Lost.
Golod also worked on several television movies including "Scary Tales: Night Elevator," "Brass," and "Return to Green Acres."
