Joan Washington was a Scottish voice and dialect coach.
She is known for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004), Crimson Peak (2015) and Highlander (1986). For television, Washington worked on such programs as A Room with a View (2007), Jane Eyre (2006), and Into the Storm (2009), where she worked with Brendan Gleeson.
Washington died September 2, 2021 in England. She was 74.
