John Beasley was an American actor.
Beasley costarred in the series Everwood and The Soul Man and in the 1993 movie Rudy. A railroad worker, he did not begin his acting career till middle age.
He was also seen in Brewster Place, The Mighty Ducks, The Apostle, Crazy in Alabama, Judging Amy, Boston Legal, Treme, and last year’s Firestarter remake.
The Omaha native founded the John Beasley Theater & Workshop in his hometown.
Beasley died on May 30, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was 79.
