John Fraser was a Scottish born actor.

Perhaps best known for his performances in the films The Dam Busters (1955), The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960), El Cid (1961), and Roman Polanski's Repulsion (1965), Fraser began his career in television with the lead role in the series Kidnapped.

He would go on to land recurring television roles on Tell Tale Hearts, Floodtide, The Practice, The Magical World of Disney, Young Sherlock: The Mystery of the Manor House, Rep, Kenilworth, A Legacy, The Doll, Ladykillers, and Doctor Who.

Fraser also made several guest star appearances in Danger Man, Columbo, My Partner the Ghost, The Flying Doctor, Mystery and Imagination, The Informer, Doctor Finlay, Thundercloud, Devil's Advocate, and The Bill.

Fraser died November 6, 2020, in London, England. He was 89.
