José Suárez was an executive at Telemundo. He was the president and general manager of Telemundo 31, Telemundo 49, and Telemundo Ft. Myers–Naples. He had served previously as President and General Manager of the Telemundo stations in Fresno (KNSO), Sacramento (KCSO), and Utah (KULX).

Suárez was also the Director of Creative Services and Local Programming, Executive Producer for NBC 6 / WTVJ's local weekday entertainment show 6 in The Mix. He was also an Executive Producer for that station's local weekday newscasts.
