Julie Cruise was an American singer and actress.
Primarily known as a singer, Cruise had a long collaboration with director David Lynch, contributing performances in several Lynch productions, including the film Blue Velvet and the television show Twin Peaks and its later iterations.
In addition, thanks to her fame from Twin Peaks, Cruise was invited to appear on NBC's Saturday Night Live. Her music has also been used in TV shows including CSI: Miami and House.
Cruise died June 9, 2022 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She was 65.
