Kevin Iwashina brings over 25 years of experience in talent representation, film & documentary financing and global production, sales & distribution. He brokered the landmark $75M sale of HAMILTON to The Walt Disney Company and was responsible for the first original documentaries at Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV and Disney +. Iwashina has packaged and sold Oscar, Emmy and Grammy nominated and winning films such as "Crash," "The Hurt Locker," "Being Mary Tyler Moore," and "We are Freestyle Love Supreme."
Most recently, Iwashina served as Head of Documentary at the Endeavor, CJ ENM and Toho owned FIFTH SEASON, where he oversaw the development, financing, production and distribution of documentary features and limited series. Previously, he founded Preferred Content, a leading independent film and premium documentary sales and financing company. He began his career in the UTA Mailroom and holds a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA.
