Kristoff St. John was an American actor.

St. John began his career as a child actor, portraying a young Alex Haley in the 1979 ABC miniseries Roots: The Next Generations. He also had a role as Booker Brown on Happy Days, and as a boyfriend of Denise Huxtable on an early episode of The Cosby Show.

As an adult, St. John made appearances on episodes of Jake and the Fatman, Diagnosis: Murder, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show, Living Single, Family Matters, Suddenly Susan, and Arli$$.

St. John originated the role of Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless, and played the character for 28 years. He won his first Daytime Emmy for the role in 1992 and his second in 2008. He most recently appeared in the January 25, 2019 episode.

In addition to his two Daytime Emmy awards (out of nine nominations), St. John won ten NAACP Image Awards.

St. John died February 3, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 52.
